How to register

1. Official Invitation Period

Investment for Africa 2019 will be held from Friday 22nd of November to Saturday 23rd of November 2019.
Workshops will precede the Forum by two-day intensive sessions tittled (on November 20th and 21st, 2019):

  • 1. “Made in Africa: Mobilizing Investment for Africa’s Sustainable Industrial Development”
  • 2. “Investment Promotion Policies and Foreign Direct Investment trends”

2. Conference Venue

This Year, Africa 2019: Investment for Africa Forum will be hosted at Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, which represents an iconic Egyptian landmark demonstrating Africa’s capacity to bridge our proud heritage with technological advancement and future prospects.

The New Administrative Capital has been chosen to host the fourth edition of the forum in order to showcase the African ability to implement large - scale infrastructure projects, attract investments, demonstrate real cooperation between the public and the private sectors, and provide new job opportunities.

3. Accreditation Procedures

All participants are requested to register through a dedicated website for Investment for Africa with an online registration starting Sunday 15 September 2019 until further notice.

  • 1. A registration confirmation will be sent over when we receive your application
  • 2. An acceptance letter will be sent over once we finalized your process containing the promo codes needed for your flight and hotel booking


4. Working Languages/ Interpretation

Investment for Africa sessions will be conducted in three (3) languages: French, English and Arabic. Simultaneous interpretation will be available.

5. Airline Tickets

EgyptAir, one of the world’s pioneer airlines is offering special fares to Cairo through EgyptAir network.
We recommend you book your flights as early as possible, as the flights heading to Cairo will fill up quickly during the period of the Forum.
Noting that once you receive your confirmation email, you will find a link with a special promo code that can be used to book flights.

6. Visas

All participants who require a visa for Egypt will be responsible for obtaining it before entering Egypt.
Please ensure you obtain the appropriate visa in advance from Egyptian embassies/missions overseas.
If you require a visa support letter kindly check the “Require Visa” yes box. Once ready, you will receive an e-mail with the visa support letter.

7. Accommodation

Five designated hotels for Investment for Africa 2019 participants are located near the New Administrative Capital, Cairo (the conference venue).

  • 1. Dusit Thani Lakeview
  • 2. Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski Cairo
  • 3. JW Marriott Hotel
  • 4. Renaissance Hotel
  • 5. Novotel Airport Hotel

The limited number of exclusive rooms are available in these five designated hotels, and the room charges of these rooms will need to be paid by the participant.

8. Transport

Buses will only be available if the participants are staying in the five (5) above-mentioned hotels.
Participants staying in these hotels will be eligible for the following:

  • 1. Arrival/departure from airports/hotels and vice versa
  • 2. Pick up /drop off from the hotels/the venue and vice versa
